Strategy and Planning Internship (Remote)
Chemistry is looking for a Strategy & Planning intern to join the 2021 Summer Internship Team. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with strong multi-tasking and organization skills and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The intern will learn about the agency’s internal processes and begin training to handle responsibilities through client projects and initiatives. This internship is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking to dive in, collaborate and immerse themselves in the exciting world of advertising.
Internship Program Background
Our internship team – Account Services, Strategy, Media & Creative – will have the opportunity to work with real-world (Chemistry) clients (on existing/actionable accounts). Chemistry’s Internship Program is built, from start to finish, to provide our interns with as much hands-on experience as possible so that they are gaining valuable knowledge and expertise to further their career goals.
Strategy Intern Specifics: Ensures that all strategic initiatives “work” by contributing to the strategic process through brief generation; research design, implementation and analysis; intelligence support, trend gathering and ability to translate research into experiences, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Create inspiring, relevant creative briefs and translate insight into ideas and subsequent management of idea across all media
Apply, develop and conduct different primary research techniques to garner and unearth insights that spark the creative process
Execution of appropriate creative projects across media – brief writing to presentation
Responsible for evaluating the effects of the campaign in the marketplace
Clear written and verbal presentation skills and style
Ability to present in a manner that influences and leads others around a great idea
Ability to see, communicate and implement on brand level
Able to communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner
Internship Length & Hours
Due to the team-based structure of the internship program, it is important that all individuals are available to work 5 days a week from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The internship will be completely virtual and would not require living/relocating to Pittsburgh. Internship will commence on June 7, 2021 and conclude August 6, 2021.
